Today I
will talk a little about my reading habits ... Usually, I read quite a week, mostly
subjects related to my PhD; however, when I go on vacation (or ends the semester),
I prefer to read other books (less scientific or psychological). For example, I
like to read fiction novels or intrigue, drama no catches my attention. In this
sense, two of my favorite books are Mysterious Island by Jules Verne and The
Count of Monte Cristo (Le Comte de Monte-Cristo) by Alexandre Dumas
When I was
a kid, I read everything I had in my house, from fables to thematic books (although
at first I did not understand much xD); Also in 1993 thieves burgled my
house, and the books were the only thing they didn't take; for this reason read
became a frequent activity.
About of the last book
I read... it was "Insurgent" of Veronica Roth, it a novel about a dystopian
future in the city of Chicago; is oriented to a teenage audience, and actually,
I read to promote the habit of reading my niece (so I could discussed with her
the chapters). Although being a teenager reading, I recommend, in some chapters
there is a very good development of the characters, but I think the end became
very quick (perhaps because it is only the first part of a trilogy).
What about you?
See you
