Hi everybody, today I'll talk a little about my favourites
films, I think that I am a person who enjoys the seventh art (xD), so I try to
go to the cinema every week; and watch movies on my computer the weekends, or
see one of my Blu-ray's collection (pirates, of course xD).
Overall enjoy various genres, but I prefer productions
with unexpected twists, or an intricate story, understandable only to the end
of the film. This year, a movie that I really liked, was "Captain America:
The Winter Soldier", has a good beat and an intricate story (in my spectator
and reader of comics opinion). In addition, the last week I saw "How To Train Your Dragon 2", at Hoyts
Cinema, and looks good for me, with a perfect balance between happiness and sadness
periods (also in 3D it´s really spectacular). If you ask me for a favourite director, actually I
have not a favourite (because all have successes and things to forget xD), but
I like the last work of Christopher Nolan, Quentin Tarantino and Josh Whedon.
My favorite movie it's... well, actually are at least
four: "The Shawshank Redemption", "The Untouchables", "The
Last Samurai" and "The Pianist". Each has stories where the
protagonist is confronted with new challenges or situations that force him to
be someone different. However, if I must choose one, "The Shawshank
Redemption" is one of my favorites, tells the story of Andy Dufrasne a
banker accused and sentenced to life imprisonment for murdering his wife and
her lover. The arrival at the prison represents a change of 360 ° in his life.
The movie narrate the process of adaptation, the value of keeping hope, and
still be a person. This movie is starring by Tim Robbins (Andy Dufresne) and
Morgan Freeman (Reed, Andy's best friend in jail).

Why is it my favorite? Because, I really like the
message to keep hope, not succumb to adversity, and enjoy the little things (as
a curiosity, this film is based on the Stephen King's novella: "Rita
Hayworth and The Shawshank Redemption"); I've seen it a lot of times and I
absolutely recommend it (approved by Reinaldo xD).
To finish this post, a few days ago I've wanted to see
(again) "The Usual Suspects", because of its cast and its great story
(with many changes and an unexpected ending); I don't wanna make spoilers, so I'll just say Keyser Söze's rules!
